Off The Shoulder Dresses
How much foundation to wear on an off shoulder dress?
I will be wearing an off shoulder black dress for a party next month. Usually when I wear foundation on my face I cover it till my neck, just the part that shows above the neck. But I don’t know till where I should wear foundation on an off shoulder dress.
I don’t want a line to show on my shoulders where it ends. Girls, I need help please! Thanks!
Foundation is for improving the appearance of the skin-tone and making it look more even.
You shouldn’t have to ‘even-up’ the skin on your shoulders ..i think that’s maybe going a bit too far, unless you have scars or birthmarks (which should be covered with camouflage make-up)
For a more natural but enough coverage, use a mousse based foundation on your face and blend it into your neck. BLEND BLEND BLEND!! You should spend time on your foundation. Don’t rush it.
A small blending make-up sponge will give best results.
There shouldn’t be a line on your shoulders as your foundation shouldn’t be a different colour to your skin.
Your foundation should be a close or very close match to your skin and it shouldn’t be used to make your skin look darker. If you intend for your skin to be darker then you should get a spray tan.
